G.VIE Pearl Jewellery
Bush Christmas originated 14 years ago when a group of women in Western Queensland saw talent lying unnoticed in rural and remote areas.
Since then, exhibitions have showcased the work of hundreds of artisans including works of art, sculpture, fibre and textiles, photography, books, ceramics, natural creams, jewellery, wood turning ……the list seems endless. The imaginative culinary creations of the bush have been encompassed in each exhibition with a multitude of gourmet delights which are characteristic of the heart warming tastes and aromas of the country kitchen. Bush Christmas has helped to market all of these innovations and culinary delights to a wider audience.
The diverse range and the degree of excellence in all the works has helped to promote the products on display and to foster a greater understanding and interest in the bush and its people from admiring audiences across Australia.
Affordability, quality and innovation are the characteristics that make this event unique, capturing the imagination of those with a feel for the outback and an appreciation of outstanding work.
Exhibiting at Bush Christmas is by invitation only to ensure an evolving collection of quality works that are generally unable to be bought elsewhere in Toowoomba, thus keeping it fresh and interesting with new work exhibited each year.
This year Bush Christmas brings together over 100 of Australia's best outback artisans in a ten day exhibition in Toowoomba, Queensland. Visit the exhibition and discover the unique and innovative work of these rural and remote artisans who have produced quality handmade gifts, fine art and gourmet delights for you to enjoy.
