Ann-Louise Clay Art - Annie Clay, Westmar Qld
I am a self taught artist and registered nurse from a beef producing property near Westmar, Queensland. Growing up on the land as a child has influenced
my art significantly. I enjoy sketching images that resonate with my upbringing and find most of my inspiration comes from nature and iconic outback scenes.
I lived in Brisbane for 6 years then finally moved to Longreach in Central Queensland in January 2019. I loved living and working as a rural nurse in an area where the subjects of my drawings are very relevant. Recently I have relocated to Westmar where I can find endless inspiration and continue to sell my work in a rural community.
The paper I use for original artwork and prints is 100% cotton rag, mould made paper. This paper is museum grade and can last generations. I produce all my own high quality limited edition prints and I frame all my own work with ready-made frames.
