Eileen's childhood was spent on the outskirts of Roma, Queensland, where she eagerly soaked up the art of knitting and sewing from an early age. Using her mother's trusty treadle machine, she meticulously fashioned doll clothes from patterns she skilfully drafted. Following her move to Wallumbilla, her dressmaking talents flourished, adorning her own children and locals with her creations. Though retired now, Eileen cherishes her busy life, ensuring that amidst her bustling days, she has time for her cherished sewing and crafts, a delightful thread that weaves through her life daily.
