Chooks with Attitude
I started crafting my Chooks in 2001 as I love pretty fabrics but like small projects.
Originally sold in a shop in Brisbane, they struck a cord with ladies who bought them for their desks and so I named them “Chooks with Attitude”
Over the years they have taken on a life of their own demanding more embellishments and trims and I love fossicking for trims and beads wherever I go. There is nothing better on a dreary cold day in Glen Innes, to sit in my craft room and begin another batch of these gorgeous creatures which I sell to our guests. In a world of mass produced items, it gives me a thrill to see people engage with my Chooks and take one home with them.
