Emily Martin

A rural upbringing gave Emily Martin a solid platform from which to embark on  life’s journey.   Recovering from an acquired brain injury following a cycling accident in early 2015, Emily decided to document her journey, for her children, but also to pay tribute to the social fabric in small rural communities.  Her book, ‘The Gift’, a fundraiser for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (PA Hospital), was launched on the anniversary of her accident, 21st Feb 2016, and is inspiring many to make the most of the journey that is ‘life’, whatever it may hold.
