Holly Dickson ArtI started creating watercolour florals of Australian wildflowers whilst living overseas, homesick for the smell of eucalyptus.
Over time I learnt how to create continuous patterns of my watercolours and began selling the fabric and a range of homeware products like cushions, napkins and tea towels. Now that I’m back in Australia my art is capturing more of the beautiful Australian wildflowers found in Kings Park and national parks across Western Australia and my home state, Queensland. Holly Dickson is actually a cheeky pseudonym. It comes from my middle name (Holly) and my grandmother's maiden name (Dickson). |
