Lisa has always enjoyed having a creative hobby on the go, and her love of making grew into a home-based business when she began doing clothing alterations while raising her children. Today, Lisa enjoys exploring a variety of creative projects, from beautifully scented diffusers and handmade cushions to lupin heat packs. She has a particular weakness for fabric—especially Australian-themed designs—and is always inspired by the colours, patterns and possibilities of a beautiful piece of cloth.
Her lupin heat packs came about through curiosity and research. While looking for alternatives for friends with allergies, Lisa discovered the natural qualities and benefits of lupins and began creating her own heat packs.
Lisa now shares her love of making with her daughter, Amber. Amber brings her own creativity to the business, making crochet toys, tea towel holders and other handmade pieces, and is also one of the young entrepreneurs featured in this year's Next Gen Creatives Showcase.
