After several years working as a tattooist in a busy studio in Perth, I finally made the decision to pack up my things and return east. I had always wanted to ‘be a farmer!’ and I concluded that if I didn’t start soon it would never happen.

I enrolled in a TAFE course “How to Breed Cows,” found a field and got to it – how hard could it be after all? Whilst waiting for these cows to grow I was inspired to start painting the the natural world that now surrounded me.

​My series of hand-coloured linoprints and handbuilt ceramics are a direct reaction to the beauty of the Australian bush.
