Sudsy's Spinnerbaits - Greg Mifsud, Highfields Qld

Sometimes the best ideas come from necessity. For Greg, it all began when his children repeatedly cast expensive fishing lures into nearby trees. Rather than replacing them, Greg decided to make his own. More than 15 years later, Sudsy's Spinnerbaits has earned a loyal following among anglers across Australia. Every lure is individually handcrafted, from the poured and powder-coated heads through to the carefully assembled skirts, combining years of fishing experience with an understanding of Australian waterways and native fish species.
Greg says the only thing better than catching a fish on a lure you've made yourself is receiving photos sent by customers who have landed the fish of a lifetime using one of his handmade lures.
