​Enamelling

For many years Vernetta lived and worked with her husband in Quilpie, cutting and mining opals. They eventually moved to Toowoomba to educate their six children.

Over six years ago, Vernetta attended her first course in Cloisonne enamelling. Smitten by the colour and vibrancy of enamelling, Vernetta originally created pieces for her own pleasure, family and friends. With invitations to exhibit in recent years, Vernetta's colourful designs have attracted the attention of many.

Vernetta enjoys creating unique works of Art in silver. 

With her artistic background as an opal cutter, coupled with her passion for colour and attention to detail, her handcrafted designs are of enduring quality and artistry.
