I have always loved making small and intricately detailed things. Jewellery making and fabric arts have been a natural expression of that love. Colour inspires me totally. Whether in the intricate work of enamelling or in the choosing and using of vintage and contemporary fabrics I can be inspired by so many things. 
I love the unexpected find, from the old French silk with its exquisite design, to the fall of light on morning leaves.  I treasure the responsiveness of fine quality materials that demand skilled craftsmanship and reflect the skills and love of those who used the materials before me.
