​Beetroot is commercially grown in the fertile Felton and Pilton Valleys south of Toowoomba. Sometimes there is an over supply to the market and so this is where the Beetroot Chutney adventure began - a local over supply, a trusted recipe to be tweaked, locally grown onions and grandchildren wanting to pick beetroot!​
