Located on the Darling Downs near Toowoomba, Coolibah Hills Honey makes 100% pure and delicious Queensland honey. How did we begin? Kaye’s father always kept a few hives in the backyard, to keep the family in honey. He loved them and passed this love on to his brother (Kaye’s uncle). Kaye was never interested in bees – they sting! However, her uncle retired and no-one wanted to share in his interest. So Kaye ended up with a few hives and caught the bug – so to speak.
Now, five years later, Kaye and her husband Peter, share 50 hives and undertake a true "paddock to plate" experience. The colours and flavours of our honey reflect the seasons, shaped by the diverse flora from which the bees gather their pollen and nectar. We label each jar with the provenance so you can experience the unique qualities. We hope you enjoy our liquid gold.
