Michael is a retired farmer with a fascinating passion for leatherwork. His journey into this craft began unexpectedly, as he found himself with an abundance of beautiful leather after tanning the hides of ration cattle he had raised. Determined not to let this precious material go to waste, he sought inspiration from a thoughtful gift given to him by his father-in-law, a stunning leather covered bottle from South America. Captivated by its charm, Michael decided to embark on his leatherworking adventure by covering small and large bottles with intricate designs. As time went on, his skill and creativity flourished, and now, Michael's leatherwork has blossomed into a cherished and fulfilling hobby that reflects both his agricultural roots and artistic spirit.
