Moebel Creations - Claudia U’Pritchard, Brisbane Qld
My art is a reflection of the breathtaking contrasts of the Australian landscape, capturing the beauty of its diverse flora as I journey across this remarkable country. My roots trace back to a childhood spent on my family’s sheep and cattle property in the semi-arid expanse of south-west Queensland near Bollon. Later, I moved to the snowy peaks of Jindabyne in the NSW Snowy Mountains, where a different kind of natural beauty inspired me. Today, I find inspiration in the coastal serenity of south-east Queensland, where I live with my husband, surrounded by my son, daughter, and their families.
I work predominantly with watercolour, enriching my pieces with the vibrant touch of Inktense pencil, the subtle depth of graphite Aquarelle, and the dynamic lines of ink. Each piece I create is a tribute to the landscapes that have shaped my life and artistic vision.
