In 1994, Sally and Rob embarked on a journey from Scotland to the picturesque Darling Downs and later settled in Tasmania in 2017. Despite their newfound home's abundant cheese offerings, they craved the perfect savory biscuit to complement the local delicacies.
Drawing inspiration from Sally's cherished recipe for traditional Scottish oatcakes, they decided to fill this void and thus began their venture. Handcrafted in Sally's kitchen, Shelduck Farm Oatcakes emerged, delighting taste buds since their launch in mid-2021. Presenting three delectable flavors - Original, Tasmanian Native Pepperberry, and Rosemary - these oatcakes have earned well-deserved recognition, securing gold and silver medals at the prestigious 2021, 2022 & 2023 Fine Food Awards in Hobart.
