The TwoMadhatters story of fabric hats began in Longreach in 1997. Two friends from the bush with a passion for fabric, colour, fun, fashion parades, design, hats and family. The name was born over a bottle of red with Robin’s baby brother who inspired the girls with his ongoing battle of mental illness. The business and story has continued to thrive over the decades as Kathy and Robin love what they create, the journey the thousands of our individually handcrafted hats have taken them, the people they’ve met and their own friendship that is treasured beyond words.
