The Two Mad Hatters - Robin Strang, Townsville & Kathy Moloney, Roma Qld

The story began in 1996 at Bush Harvest in Longreach, where two friends from the bush came together with a shared passion for fabric, colour, and design. Fuelled by their love for fashion parades, hats, and family, Kathy and Robin created TwoMadHatters, a name inspired over a bottle of red wine with Robin’s baby brother, who courageously faced mental illness.
Now, 28 years later, the creative journey of TwoMadHatters continues to thrive. Kathy and Robin cherish the thousands of handcrafted hats they've made, the incredible people they've met along the way, and the deep, enduring friendship they share.
